Penny Adams is just a normal high schooler who has no idea what she wants to do when she graduates. That all changes when she discovers she has access to a magical energy called Source, and is recruited by a government agency to fight a Source terrorist group, Alternative Energy. But not everything is as it seems as she learns who among her friends and enemies she can trust.
